Responsible for hands-on testing with hardware equipment, analysing results, and driving validation processes at component, PCBA, and system levels. This role involves defining validation strategies, managing hardware test setups, and ensuring complete product quality through verification and compliance testing of air conditioner products.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare, configure, and maintain hardware benches and SIT setups for validation
Execute compliance tests for safety, reliability, and other functional & performance tests
Prepare test plans, validation matrices, and execution reports for hardware testing
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for hardware validation, EMI/EMC compliance, safety and system integration testing
Key Requirements
Required
BE in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field
6–8 years in hardware validation and system integration testing for new product development
Strong background in hardware testing standards and EMI/EMC compliance
Proven expertise in embedded hardware testing at components, PCBA, and system levels
Willing and able to travel within and outside India for project needs
Strong communication and team collaboration skills and understanding of testing methodologies
Apply knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and compliance testing for home appliances products
Hands-on experience with Oscilloscope, Environmental Chamber, Signal Generator, EMI Receiver and other measurement & diagnostic equipment
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for hardware defects and failures
Deep understanding of embedded hardware at components/parts level, PCBA design, and system integration
Preferred
Experience in hardware testing management, with ability to lead validation and drive execution
Strong verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
Hardware knowledge and experience in refrigeration and air conditioning systems
