Sr. Manager - Product Validation & Verification (Mechanical)
Job Summary
Responsbile for Executing RAC/PAC/Components(Copper,Resin,Heat Exchanger)/Compressor/Motor product Validation by cross collabration with global team , Execute test standards creation , Project execution and track RAC/PAC Product validation by solving technical isssue in product and lab. North America , EU market with CVP knowledge
Job Responsibilities
- Create RAC/PAC/Component validation test plan by understanding design change point and execute the same in various labs with lab technicians
- Prepare a project validation schedule and monitor schedule throughout the project
- Effectively communicate project status & issues technically/functionally across a wide variety of audiences
- Show quick turnaround with product design and testing issues, well-versed with Testing equipment & laboratories
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of product engineering, Development, project managers, product owners and quality assurance to report and mitigate project risks and ensure timely delivery
- Understand existing design and test standards, Compliance requirements in the product and bring in improvements
- Drive and execute test results, manage overall technical issues and interpret for management decisions
- Define Machine Specification and Build Lab infrastructure as needed for component (Copper, Sheet metal, Heat Exchangers), Compressor & Motors testing etc.
Key Requirements
- BE/B.Tech
- 8 to 10 years of experience in new product development and validation of RAC/PAC/Component/ Compressor/Motors.
- Candidate must have good understanding of DFMEA/Test standards / Compliance requirments
- Knowledge of Six Sigma metholodgies , excellent MS Office Skills and ISO 17025 certification
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, DQA mindset, and Design Engineering processes
- Self-motivated and proactive with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Able to travel within and Outside India
- Able to work as Individual contributor and lead the project with matrix hierarchies
Preferred
- Experience with HVAC/ Motors/Heat Exchangers, its components Design Quality , Product development and prouduct testing management , able to drive the testing and project.
- Experience in Lab Operation managing and Testing Lab building , New labs project installations .
- Good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Good Data analytics capability by Advance Excel / Power BI .
