Sr. Manager/Manager - Embedded Testing (Software V&V)
Job Summary
This role involves leading embedded software testing for air conditioning systems by defining test strategies and driving both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and execute test strategies for embedded software and firmware
- Plan, prepare, and execute functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and white-box testing
- Drive defect logging, reporting, verification, and validation processes
- Prepare test plans, test matrices, and execution reports
- Design and develop embedded automation systems for air conditioner testing
- Integrate embedded tools and interfaces to enable automated validation of firmware and software
- Define and implement test strategies, automation plans, and execution workflows
- Develop reusable automation modules for functional, integration, and regression testing
- Interface with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (Modbus, UART, SPI, I2C, H-Link)
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for embedded software validation
- Automate test cases for software verification and UAT across multiple models
- Apply automation approaches for software verification and validation
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for software testing and automation
- North America , EU market with CVP knowledge is prefferable .
- Able to identify market trend and drive the innovation and Automations.
Key Requirements
- BE in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science Engineering
- 10–12 years in System Integration Testing (SIT) for new product development
- Strong background in IoT, embedded software, and firmware testing
- Experience in large-scale embedded project testing and validation
- In-depth knowledge of microprocessors and their peripherals
- Willing and able to travel within and outside India for project needs
- Able to work as Individual contributor and lead the project with matrix hierarchies
Preferred
- Proven experience in product development and testing management, with the ability to lead testing and drive project execution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Embedded hardware knowledge and experience in refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Good Data analytics capability by Advance Excel / Power BI
